International Symposium on Emerging Trends in Semiconductor Technology (MICSETS 2023)
On 29 November 2023, Micro System Technology (MiCTEC) organised an online international symposium discussing ‘Emerging Trends in Semiconductor Technology’.
MiCTEC had partnered with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE), IEEE Sensors & Nanotechnology Council Malaysia, and IEEE Electronics Packaging Society with the hopes of bringing together fellow researchers, industries, academicians, scholars, professionals, and key players in related fields across the region to share findings and generate networking in this platform.
The guest speakers invited to the symposium include Ts. Dr. Mohd Rofei Mat Hussin, one of MIMOS’ experts, with the topic of ‘Recent Progress of Wide-Bandgap Semiconductor Research for Power Electronic Applications in Malaysia’. The talk underscored MIMOS’ efforts in the semiconductor industry and expedited MIMOS’ role as the centre of research excellence in Malaysia.
