Senior Executive – Security

Job Purpose

To assist the Security Manager in administering MIMOS Security systems & records, ensuring 100% uptime of security scanning devices through systematic site visits,monitoring security operations in the field and enforcing adherence to S.O.P.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage security related matters systematically. Ie Surveilance System CCTV/ID Access/Vechile Registration Database.
• Security Planning: Developing security plans and protocols tailored to the executive’s specific needs and circumstances.
• Physical Security: Implementing measures to protect the physical safety of the executive, such as secure transportation, secure residences/offices, and access control.
• Threat Detection: Monitoring for any potential threats or suspicious activity, both online and offline.
• Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
• Security Training: Providing training and guidance to the supervisors and their staff on security best practices and emergency procedures.
• Coordination with Law Enforcement: Collaborating with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns and mitigate risks.
• Continuous Assessment and Improvement: Regularly reviewing and updating security measures to adapt to changing threats and circumstances.
• Administer the assigning all system equipment are aways in a functional mode and readily for deployment as and when required.
• Assist Security Management in reviewing the policies and S.O.P to ensure good standard is attained in accordance to security regulation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or a related field is often preferred and security management.

Professional Qualification 

Security professional such as Police forces or Armed Forces well trained.

Relevant Work Experience

• Significant experience in security,law enforcement or military is usually required
• 5 years experience.

• Knowledge in handling all security systems.
• Knowledge in Crisis management and response.
• Excelent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic First aider.
• Lead Security team in any exercise -ie Firedrill /Bomba.

Soft Skills

• Discreation and confidentiality.
• Strong problem -solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel Requirements (if any) 

MIMOS Kulim HighTech. (2x/years).
