Position Purpose & Summary:

The Protégé will support the organization in various administrative functions. The ideal protégé candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks as assigned.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle correspondence.
  • Greet visitors and clients, and provide them with assistance as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Office Management:

  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and employee activities.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities.
  • Draft and send emails, letters, and other correspondence.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Proven experience as an office worker, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role, is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent degree.

Technical/ Functional Skills

  • Basic skills in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
