MIMOS Berhad announces the appointment of Dr. Jasmine Begum as its new Non-Executive Chairperson. Effective 8 August 2024, she succeeded Dato’ Sri Ibrahim Ahmad, who served as MIMOS Chairman from 1 July 2022 to 15 August 2023.
Dr. Jasmine Begum brings a wealth of experience in technology, policy, and global affairs to her new role. She is currently the head of Microsoft’s Corporate External and Legal Affairs for ASEAN.
On 29 August, the new Chairperson was welcomed to the team with a comprehensive briefing on the Group’s organisational structure and management committees. The session also included presentations from sector heads, providing valuable insights into their respective areas of expertise.
MIMOS believes Dr. Jasmine’s expertise and leadership will be crucial for the organisation’s continued success and expansion.
Most recently on 9 September, our Chairperson hosted a session titled, “Shaping Bold Aspirations for MIMOS.” This event provided a valuable opportunity for employees to connect with the leader, ask questions, and share their ideas on MIMOS’ way forward to spearhead R&D in the digital arena on a global scale.
