The National Nanotechnology Directorate (NND), a unit under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), will set up a RM200 million NanoMalaysia Centre complex at Senai High Tech Park, Johor.
Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili, said the project, under the 10th Malaysia Plan, would be the first of its kind in Malaysia to further drive the development of nanotechnology.
“The centre is expected to be completed within 12 months with administration and incubation centres,” he told reporters after officiating the NanoMalaysia Summit and Expo 2011 here Wednesday.
