BUKIT JALIL, June 7: National R&D centre in ICT MIMOS Berhad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) to collaborate in the field of information and
communications technology (ICT). Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate by exchanging information, staff and researchers, promoting their joint research; and jointly organising technical meetings and workshops.
The MoU signing ceremony was witnessed by Japanese Ambassador to Malaysia, Shigeru Nakamura and Deputy Under Secretary of ICT Policy Division, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Rodziah Puteh. MIMOS was represented by its President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdul Wahab Abdullah while NICT President Dr Hideo Miyahara signed on behalf of his organisation.
