MIMOS Showcases Cutting-Edge Medical Technologies at IMDEC 2024

MIMOS Berhad recently participated in the International Medical Device Exhibition & Conference (IMDEC) 2024, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on 10 to 12 December. The event, themed, ‘Unleashing the Power of Medical Technology: Shaping the Future of Healthcare,’ provided a platform for MIMOS to showcase its innovative solutions in the healthcare sector.

MIMOS showcased three groundbreaking technologies:

REVA: A non-invasive device that monitors vital signs, making healthcare more accessible, especially in remote areas. REVA integrates the latest in machine learning and photodetector technology, offering significant benefits in terms of accuracy, portability, and ease of use, which are critical in modern healthcare environments.

AINS: An advanced imaging system that offers enhanced diagnostic capabilities, allowing for quick implementation and analysis of data from materials and products in a variety of industries such as biomedical, agriculture, food and beverage (F&B), manufacturing, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and environment.

Spectroscopy Dental: A cutting-edge dental technology that improves oral healthcare by analysing biochemical markers present in saliva to assess the presence and risk of dental caries.

These innovative solutions have the potential to revolutionise healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.

In addition to the product showcase, MIMOS’ Puan Zalhan, Head of Photonics Technology Lab, delivered a keynote speech at INNOMed, a key event within IMDEC2024. Her presentation highlighted the transformative power of photonics technology in the medical device industry.

Taking part in IMDEC2024, MIMOS demonstrated its commitment to driving innovation and contributing to the advancement of healthcare. Through collaborations with industry partners and academic institutions, MIMOS aims to develop groundbreaking solutions that address the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
