MIMOS Junior Academy (Tadika MIMOS) enhances STEM literacy for children as young as 4 years old

YABhg. Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Dr. Wan Ismail launched the rebranded MIMOS Junior Academy (MJA) at MIMOS Berhad, featuring a new STEM-based curriculum developed in collaboration with the National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).

MJA’s teaching approaches include inquiry-based learning, play-based learning, project-based learning, STEM integration, experiential learning, and technology-enhanced learning.

YBhg. Datuk Ts. Dr. Haji Aminuddin, Secretary General of MOSTI, highlighted the importance of STEM education for building a future-ready workforce and ensuring Malaysia’s global competitiveness. He emphasised MOSTI’s commitment to making STEM education accessible and engaging for all students.

Dr. Saat Shukri Embong, Acting President & Group CEO of MIMOS, stated that MJA’s transformation reflects MIMOS’s dedication to advancing holistic and innovative early education, nurturing curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among pre-schoolers to drive tomorrow’s technology-driven world.
