DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia, Pekan, organised the “Malaysian Automotive Industry” Subject Matter Expert Talk on 22 August 2023. Among the expert speakers attending the event was Mr. Shaharuddin Busri, MIMOS’ Head of Industrial Design.

The talk delved deep into the intricate layers of the Malaysian Automotive Industry, focusing on its notable industrial designers, the industry’s evolution, challenges, and remarkable successes. A focal point of the event was the panel discussion titled “Innovations Shaping the Industry,” accompanied by a case study presentation titled “Revolutionising Vehicle Design.”
Enriching the engagement, university engineering students appreciated the opportunity for an interactive Q&A session with the esteemed experts. It is imperative for MIMOS experts to participate in these talks which are instrumental in providing university students with an in-depth understanding of their chosen fields of study and the immense potential within. MIMOS anticipates that these talks will motivate students’ enthusiasm in their chosen technology-related field, ultimately contributing to an increased pool of talents and experts in the future technology industry.
