Position Purpose & Summary:

As a Executive in Change Management Intervention, and Training, his/her primary role is to monitor and control the spearhead and effective implementation of change intervention and training programs related to projects. This involves in monitoring of devising and executing comprehensive intervention and training strategies tailored to the specific needs of customers impacted by technological transformations.

His/her responsibilities include identifying areas that require intervention, thorough monitoring the implementation and development of training programs aimed at equipping employees with the requisite skills and knowledge to adapt to new technologies. Additionally, he/she play a crucial role in communicating the objectives of projects, and continually evaluating and improving intervention and training strategies to ensure seamless integration of technology-driven changes

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help identify areas in the project requiring change and assess their potential impact on various organizational aspects, including people, processes, systems/ technologies, and culture.

  • Monitor project performance and progress involves oversee the progress of change intervention and training in the project and ensure that contractors fulfill their responsibilities according to the agreed-upon plan which includes adhering to the scope of work, targeted timelines, allocated costs, and required quality standards using project management tools.

  • Aid in monitoring the comprehensive planning and development of Change Impact Analysis (CIA) and Change Readiness Assessment (CRA), Training, Job Realignment, and Benefit Realisation strategies and timelines, to effectively convey the objectives and implementation for change.

  • Monitor the progress of change initiatives, gathering stakeholder feedback, and evaluating the effectiveness of change management strategies to ensure their alignment with project objectives.

  • Prepare a report on the results of evaluating and monitoring the implementation of change intervention and training, and propose recommendations to project management and maintain accurate documentations and records.

  • Continuously learn about change management methodologies and best practices to enhance skills, while collaborating with team members to ensure cohesive efforts and provide support where needed.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Experience and knowledge in Project Management, Change Management & Training, Systems Implementation Change Management. Experience and knowledge in ICT Project especially in public sector
  •  Hands-on experience in conducting research, survey, data findings and analysis, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in handling, managing and providing training, transfer of technology and transfer of knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution Preferably field in Management, Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Any change management certifications would be an added advantage

Competencies/Skills

  • Project management skills with project management best practices/ methodologies/ project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Change management skills encompass expertise in methodologies, stakeholder engagement, communication, training, data analysis, conflict resolution, communication, promotion and awareness, impact assessment, readiness assessment, job realignment and benefit realization.
  • Good command in the usage of Microsoft Office software in the likes of Microsoft Words/ MS Excel/ MS Power Point and MS Project
  • Good knowledge in various multimedia production tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Final Cut Pro, etc.
  • proficiency in conducting change impact analyses and readiness assessments,
  • Good knowledge of human resource management or job realignment strategies related to project implementation.
  • Capabilities in conducting surveys, using any online platform such as SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, etc and software tools for data analysis and reporting such as MS Excel, SPSS, Power BI etc.
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering training programs includes Training Needs Analysis (TNA), training evaluation, learning management system etcProject Management: Ability to plan, execute, and manage projects from planning to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders, as well as to convey ideas and recommendations clearly in projects.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively, analytically and strategically to solve problems that may arise during projects, such as management issues, technical issues or creative challenges with a keen attention to detail.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all project’s deliverables.
  • Trend Awareness: Awareness of current trends, best practices, government circulars, acts and policies, technologies and other industry standards.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to understand and meet the needs of clients and stakeholders, ensuring that projects align with their goals and expectations.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines, as well as to learn new technologies and skills as needed in the rapidly evolving ICT industry and Government needs.
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English, especially in report writing.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-tasks within the purview of project administration
