Assistant Manager, PMO Monthly Reporting Technology Venture & Investment Division

Position Purpose & Summary:

Responsible for Integrated Project Workstream under the Project Management Tower. Assist the Manager in keeping track, analyse and monitor the Project Timeline, Scope, Cost and Human Resource for overall NIISe Project and prepare the monthly report for the project progress.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor overall project progress for all contractors, collect, collate and analyze project data for projection and reporting purposes.

  • Lead in developing monthly project monitoring and control reports for 48 months.

  • Assist in the assessment of the Main Contractors’ Project Management Plans and Master Implementation Plans.

  • Works collaboratively with other project team, proactively engage, discuss and coordinate with project team to understand the project situation and status in order to make sure the project runs according to project plan.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Proven experience in managing/ performing monitoring and controlling and reporting functions for government IT project with a minimum 7 years related experience

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, ITIL, TOGAF will be an added advantage

Competencies/Skills

  • Project Management (Integrated, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resource, Risk, Communication, Procurement, Stakeholder): Experience with project management best practices/ methodologies/ project lifecycle..

  • Project Management Software: Experience/ knowledge with project management software such as Microsoft Project Plan or Project Management Information System

  • Problem-solving: Possess problem-solving skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Innovative: A passion for innovation and a desire to drive positive change through data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English, especially in interpersonal communication and report writing
