After 18 month of its venture into applied research in frontier technologies, MIMOS Berhad is ready to transfer the technology platforms to the industry. According to its president and chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Wahab Abdullah. the move will involve 34 patents from Mimos five technology clusters – grid computing, knowledge technology, information security, wireless communications and micro electromechanical systems/nano electromechanical system.
