On December 2, MIMOS hosted Integrity Day as part of its continuous efforts in inculcating noble values and enhancing the understanding of MIMOSians on the importance of strengthening integrity.
Head of Kuala Lumpur Commercial Crime Investigation Department, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Mahidisham Ishak was invited as the guest speaker to share his inspirational work, experiences and insights on integrity issues.
ACP Mohd Mahidisham revealed that document forgery, false claims and breach of trust were the top three commercial crimes in organisations in Malaysia. He further explained that account manipulation and business email compromise were among other misconduct issues happening in the workplaces.
“Integrity is the quality of having strong ethical or moral principles at workplace, and following them at all times no matter who’s watching.”
“Thus, it is important for every employee at all organisations including MIMOS to work with honesty, honour and truthfulness to further enhance the company’s performance and excellence,” he said.
Also present at the event were MIMOS President and CEO Dr Iskandar Samad and Senior Vice President (Corporate Services) Emelia Matrahah. The event was attended by 80 people, both in the Auditorium and Microsoft Teams.
