On 12 and 13 November 2024, MIMOS Berhad hosted a comprehensive training programme focused on Silvaco TCAD, a powerful suite of software tools for semiconductor process and device simulation.
The workshop aimed to equip engineers and researchers with the necessary skills to design and optimise advanced semiconductor devices.
Participants gained hands-on experience in simulating the electrical behaviour of various semiconductor devices, including transistors, diodes, and sensors.
The training covered the modelling and simulation of complex semiconductor fabrication processes, enabling the optimisation of device performance and yield.
Participants learned how to use Silvaco tools to optimise device design for specific applications, such as high-performance computing, mobile devices, and power electronics.
