On Dec 1, MIMOS inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) to promote cooperation in research and development in the field of financial technology (FinTech), in particular, the regulatory technology (RegTech). The collaboration will see both parties jointly develop a capital market advanced analytics platform.
Under the MoU, SC will leverage MIMOS’ technology capabilities in harvesting and processing a high volume of structured and unstructured data, and enable the organisation to benefit from more accurate scenario analysis and horizon scanning to generate better insights, to enhance its regulatory performance. The MoU highlights a key milestone in MIMOS’ drive to push homegrown technology solutions in helping transform the efficiency and transparency of government service delivery.
