The recent Petrosains Science Festival 2018 was a crowd-puller as thousands of visitors including tourists thronged the event to participate in various interactive activities in celebration of science.
Visitors were treated to hands-on exhibitions, workshops, talks, science shows, games, contests, and many other educational activities during the three-day programme, which was held at Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) from Sep 14 to 16.
MIMOS was one of the many exhibitors that showcased its products and innovations, where visitors had the opportunity to try their hands at GlucoSenz, a painless blood glucose test device; FloBo, a 3-in-1 gadget that measures body temperature, oxygen level and heart rate; and URooch, a brooch that can read UV exposure level.
MIMOS also showcased its Virtual Reality, Smart Green House and Smart Aqua Farming.
On the third day, MIMOS scientist Ir Dr Nordin Ramli delivered a talk on Internet of Things as one of the nine pillars of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
All in all, the festival brought people of different backgrounds together in embracing creativity and innovation.
