In its first, MIMOS Berhad recently celebrated the achievements of three exceptional young Malaysians by bestowing them the prestigious MIMOS Young Fellow Award.
The award ceremony, held at Le Meridien, Putrajaya, during the MIMOS Board Offsite Meeting on 4 October 2024, recognised outstanding academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
The awards were presented by Chairperson, Dr Jasmine Begum, and Acting President and CEO, Dr Saat Shukri Embong of MIMOS Berhad to the three deserving recipients:
- Izz Imir: A prodigy in the making, made history by securing admission to Universiti Malaya at just 12 years old, a testament to his exceptional intellect and academic prowess.
- Nur Alia Jannah Saiful Haizad: A self-taught coding whiz, demonstrated extraordinary talent by winning the global Apple Swift Student Challenge at the tender age of 16. Her self-driven learning and technical skills are truly inspiring.
- Vishwaambara A/L Baskar: Showcased his exceptional academic performance, evident in his outstanding achievement of straight A* grades in the IGCSE examinations in 10 subjects.
The MIMOS Young Fellow Award aims to identify and nurture young talent in Malaysia. By acknowledging and rewarding exceptional individuals, MIMOS seeks to inspire future generations and contribute to the nation’s technological advancement.
To further support the growth and development of these young talents, Nur Alia Jannah and Vishwaambara have been offered internship opportunities at MIMOS Berhad. These internships will provide them with invaluable hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge research and development projects.
