Job Purpose
Responsible to ensure execution of the four core functions of IEU i.e. Complaint Management, Detection & Verification, Integrity Enhancement and Governance Support the management of MIMOS by providing the assessment and implementation of Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption internal control and compliance function. Person in charge of effective and efficient running of the Integrity & Ethics Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of the organisation’s anti-bribery management system and compliance function to ensure conformity with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continually looking to improve and update the anti-bribery management system with the changes in the industry and business structure.
- Provide advice and guidance to personnel on the anti-bribery management system and issues relating to integrity & ethics.
- Report on the performance of the anti-bribery management system to top management and other compliance functions, as appropriate.
- Complaints management (whistleblowing) – Receive and take action on integrity-related complaints/feedback regarding criminal misconduct or breaches of the MIMOS Code of Ethics.
- Detection & Verification – Conduct investigation into any bribery or violation of the anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy or the anti-bribery management system and report accordingly to the Management.
- Integrity Enhancement – Coordinate and execute internal and/or external Integrity-related programs (offline/online).
- Governance – Assess and advocate to ensure the best governance practices is in place for the enhancement of integrity within the organisation.
- Perform administrative tasks such as drafting letters, proposal, memo, slides presentation, and other relevant documentations.
- Carry out all duties and assignments, assigned by Head of Unit and Head of Division, as and when needed.
