Job Purpose
This job holder is to commercialised MIMOS R&D Technology or Platform to local or oversea market, referring end customer needed in term overall solution He/She is responsible for business development efforts on behalf of the company , by identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic partnerships and business opportunities for our R&D organization. He/She will build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients in order to keep business growth opportunities in the pipeline and translate those opportunities into company revenue, moving towards MIMOS R&D Commercialsation and Monetisation .
Key Responsibilities
- Assess market demands and technology landscapes to identify new business opportunities
- Identify and engage potential partners, collaborators, and clients to foster strategic relationships
- Identify Business opportunities for MIMOS R&D&I activities to fruition by strategizing and formulating all R&D&I related way forward inclusive R&D projects, assets and resources either from existing or past programs through potential technology engagement, collaboration, partnership, diffusion and cross-fertilization that would beneficial to MIMOS.
- Identify MIMOS technology development program against product/solution maturity and business readiness level.
- Lead the development of proposals, pitch presentations, and other collateral to showcase our R&D capabilities, other related technology required.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including researchers, project managers, and executives, to align business development efforts with organizational priorities.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through new partnerships, collaborations, and projects.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to enhance the organization’s visibility and market positioning
- To lead and maintain strong customer relationship with business partners as long term strategic alliances
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Business/Engineering/ICT or other related field.
Work Experience
- At least 5-10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in an R&D, Mirco-Electronic, Electronic & Electrical (E&E) and also ICT Product & Solutions or technology-focused sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing collaborations with external partners including industry partners, research institutions, and government agencies.

- Knowledgeable in E&E/M&E/ ICT business or market ecosystem and emerging technologies.
- Proven successful leadership , teamwork and communication
- Excellent in strategic business engagement, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities
- Experience with proposal writing and responding to RFPs/EOIs and also Project Proposal development inclusive of project costing & pricing strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent in MS excel and power point or presentation tools.
