The programme is divided into a 30:70 ratio, with 30% theory and 70% hands-on workshop. Theory covers key LCR Meter technology and measurement principles, while hands-on sessions enhance participants’ understanding of measurement methodology and accuracy. Both sessions aim to maximise engagement.
Learning Outcome
- Understand the working principle of LCR metre
- Articulate basic functions of impedance measurement
- Identify and operate LCR metre fixtures and tools
- Make use of features on LCR Meter to collect LCR data
- Make sense of collected LCR data
Methodology
The course will be conducted in two major ways: lecture on the theory part, while hands-on on the practical part. Classroom discussions will be carried out throughout the entire course.
Pre-requisite
Basic electronics. Participants are advised to have a basic understanding on voltage, current, resistance, power and relating electronics parameters. Best if participants have prior experience collecting data with LCR Meter, this course will close the technical gap and strengthen their understanding towards LCR Meter usage.
Duration
1 Day
Target Group (who should attend)
Lecturers, lab technicians, graduating students and engineers who use LCR Metre or Impedance analyser.
