MIMOS Welcomed Turkish Ambassador for Collaborative Ventures

In an exciting development that promises to forge new pathways in technological collaboration, MIMOS had the honour of welcoming H.E. Emir Salim Yüksel, the esteemed Ambassador of Türkiye, on 12 March 2024.

This pivotal meeting, aimed at exploring the fertile ground for technological exchange and cooperation between MIMOS and various Turkish entities, underscores a mutual commitment to innovation and progress.

With a keen focus on cutting-edge sectors such as semiconductors, integrated circuits (ICs), advanced flexible technologies including graphene ink and sensors, as well as medical devices, the visit by the Turkish delegation marks a significant step towards leveraging shared expertise for mutual benefits.

The agenda for the day was meticulously planned to ensure a comprehensive introduction to MIMOS’ pioneering technologies and their potential applications. MIMOS Acting President & CEO, Dr. Saat Shukri Embong warmly welcomed the guests, setting a collaborative tone for the day.

This was followed by an insightful MIMOS overview presented by Dato’ Rosli Kp Mohamed Yoosuf, who highlighted key achievements and capabilities. Dr. Lee Hing Wah then took the stage to provide a detailed briefing on specific technologies that hold promise for partnership opportunities between Türkiye and MIMOS.

The ensuing discussion, featuring H.E. Emir Salim Yüksel, Ms. Ayşe Aydoğdu, Ms. Münevver Koçak, and Ms. Merve Kadiroğlu, opened avenues for future collaboration, emphasising the shared vision of harnessing technology for the betterment of society. This meeting not only paves the way for exciting technological ventures but also strengthens the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Malaysia and Türkiye.
