Accordingly, MIMOS’ Director of Manufacturing Technologies Centre, Ts. Shamsul Anuar Abdul Wahid was invited as one of the speakers to talk on the topic, ‘Driving Efficiency and Intelligence at the Edge: Unleashing the Power of AI in Semiconductor Manufacturing’.
His talk covered answers to questions; ‘Why do we move the processing (especially the AI inference) to the edge?’; ‘What are the challenges of edge computing?’; and ‘What are some WIP (work in progress) solutions or potential future developments that can address these challenges?’.
